Last Thursday Nicola Sturgeon announced that from Monday 13th July dentists can start seeing patients for routine non-aerosol dental care. The range of non-AGP treatments that dentists can offer in this phase has still to be determined by the Scottish Government. Guidance on how the practices are to operate in Phase 3 COVID19 recovery has also still be decided as well. When we know more we will let you know.
Presently we are open for urgent & essential dental care. Last week an attempt was made to contact all patients who had contacted the practice during the shutdown to discuss their dental problems and provisional plans were made on how to help them in Phases 3 of COVID19 recovery.
If you have any dental problems, no matter how small, it would be helpful if you could contact the practice during office hours by phone (01555 893992), from Monday 29th June so that your problem can be evaluated over the phone and then we can plan a way forward for you. If you take the time to do this, when the practice enters Phase 3 dentistry it is likely your problems will be looked into quicker than someone who phones after Monday 13th July.
We have created patient lists of patients who had outstanding treatment in March that had to be put on hold due to COVID and we will contact you when circumstances allow us to continue your treatment plans. Similarly patients who had 6 monthly exams from March to present & going forward to July 10th have been cancelled and put on exam waiting lists.
If you have an non-urgent manner you can alternatively email us on email@example.com. You can look at our facebook page R Coventry Dental Practice as well for any updates on our practice.
